It is with great joy and humility that I accept a new professional challenge. I am officially joining the DONNOLA holding, where I will have the honor of managing the ambitious 'Ryba Mírov' project. Our mission is both clear and fascinating: the conservation of the Burbot. This unique fish has nearly vanished from our waters in the past; therefore, our goal is its return not only to Czech rivers but to the broader European waterways. The Ryba Mírov project is not just about breeding; it is about restoring a natural heritage and ensuring the sustainability we owe to future generations. I look forward to everything we will achieve together with this exceptional team.

Sustainability, innovation, and food security are the primary pillars of European economic policy today. Modern aquaculture stands as one of the most progressive sectors fulfilling these values. The DONNOLA group is becoming a key player in this field, effectively bridging technological know-how with European Union grant opportunities.
Our team of specialists at the DONNOLA holding, under my leadership, recently completed and submitted an application for financial support within the prestigious cross-border INTERREG program. This project focuses on developing cutting-edge aquaculture technologies that enable efficient breeding with minimal environmental impact.
However, our ambitions do not end at the borders of the European Union. Within the group, we are currently preparing large-scale investment projects for financing by the European Investment Bank (EIB). Our strategy is global:
Central Europe: Intensifying sustainable farming through the use of Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS).
Maldives and Africa: Implementing modern aquaculture in regions where these projects deliver immense social and economic benefits.

As part of the R&D activities of our company ECOCHARGE s.r.o., we have developed the GRID-THERM-FLEX project, which addresses a critical challenge in European energy: how to effectively decarbonize industrial heat while stabilizing an electrical grid saturated with volatile renewable energy sources (RES).
The objective is to demonstrate that a Sand-based Thermal Energy Storage (SANDTHERM) managed by AI-driven dispatching (ECOCHARGE) can transform surplus electricity from PV plants (spilled energy) into low-cost process heat. This solution aims to reduce emissions by 100% in pilot operations while offering ancillary services (AS) for power grid balancing to transmission system operators.

Thanks to ECOCHARGE, our fish farms are becoming active components of so-called Smart Grids. We are no longer merely passive consumers, but partners helping to stabilize European energy networks while producing healthy fish with a minimal carbon footprint.
